We are aware of issues where 2nd covid vaccinations are not currently showing on the NHS APP despite being administered to patients.
NHS Digital, who are responsible for the update and maintenance of the NHS App are also aware of this issue as it is affecting a large number of patients across England. Upon receipt of a copy of your vaccination card the practice is happy to add this to your GP patient record, however this is NOT linked in any way to the NHS APP and we have no way to rectify any errors with the NHS APP.
NHS Digital are currently in the process of setting up a patient “self-service” online portal to rectify all such mistakes – this is expected to be in place by October at the latest.
Please do not contact the surgery if you have any issues with the NHS APP as we are unable to help with it – all queries should go to NHS Digital direct or should wait until the self service portal is up and running.
