|As part of the national roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccination programme, we are working closely with NHS and local authority colleagues to plan how this will be delivered and it is not expected to be widely available until 2021. We will ensure that those who need it most will be able to access vaccinations as soon as they are available. Rest assured that invitations will be sent out to eligible people at the right time but these will not come direct from the Practice nor will vaccinations be done on our site. Specially designated vaccine hubs are being set up around North Tyneside and we are yet to confirm the location of this site for Whitely Bay patients.
Please do not call us about the vaccine; it prevents other urgent calls getting through.
We will provide updates on this website and on the North Tyneside Clinical Commissioning Group website as they are received.
UPDATE: We are working with the PCN and our CCG to provide a vaccine hub in the local area. We hope that we can commence vaccinations sometime in January 2021 and will contact eligible patients direct as soon as we this is set up. Please do not ring the surgery about the vaccine – lines are extremely busy in the run up to Christmas and the New Year. Many thanks
